These terms are an agreement between you and [YOUR LEGAL NAME OR BUSINESS NAME] ("we") for using The Actor Brain. By creating an account you agree to them.
Your account
You need to be 18 or older and give a valid email address. You're responsible for keeping access to that email secure, since it's how you log in. One account is for one person.
Free plan and Pro
- The Actor Brain is free to use, with no time limit. The free plan includes 20 auto-fills a month, where a pasted listing or screenshot is read automatically to fill in the details; unused auto-fills don't carry over.
- Pro costs $4.99 a month (plus any applicable tax), billed through Stripe in advance each month until you cancel. Pro includes unlimited auto-fills, subject to a fair-use daily limit that keeps the service running for everyone, and any Pro features we add later.
- During early access, Pro may be offered at a lower introductory price for a set number of months (for example, $2.99 a month for your first 3 months). After that it renews at the regular price unless you cancel. The offer shown at checkout is the one that applies to you.
- You can cancel Pro anytime from Account → Manage billing. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep Pro until the end of the month you've paid for, then move to the free plan.

- If we change the price, we'll tell you at least 30 days before your next charge at the new price.
- If you leave Pro, nothing you've saved is deleted or locked. You keep using the free plan.
Your content
What you add (auditions, notes, people, notices and screenshots) stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service to you, including sending notices and screenshots to our reading provider. Only add material you're allowed to use; casting breakdowns may be covered by the terms of the site you got them from.
Fair use
Please don't misuse the service: no trying to access other people's accounts, overloading or attacking the service, or using it for anything unlawful. Automatic reading is limited per account per day to keep costs fair.
Automatic reading
The Actor Brain uses AI to read notices and suggest details. It can make mistakes, so always check dates, times and instructions against the original before you rely on them.
Other companies' names
Actors Access, Casting Networks, Backstage, Playbill, Google Calendar and iPhone Calendar are trademarks of their owners. The Actor Brain isn't affiliated with or endorsed by them.
The service "as is"
We work hard to keep The Actor Brain running and your information safe, but we provide it "as is" without guarantees that it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, such as a missed audition, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Ending your account
You can stop using The Actor Brain anytime, and ask us to delete your account at [CONTACT EMAIL]. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, and we'll tell you why.
Changes and governing law
We'll tell you before meaningful changes to these terms take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of [STATE / COUNTRY].
